Walkin, Laughin, & Enjoyin Life

Well my 6 year old woke me up at 7:30am this moring! Ugg! I love sleeping in on the weekends, but not today! He wanted me to get up with him to take Gunner outside to pee! I couldn't say no to that! After that I was awake, so we went to the local park. Zach brought his bike & Gunner and I walked. It was so peacful and beautiful! We walked for over 2 hours. Gunner was such a sweet, friendly dog! He really is a joy! Zach had a great time too. He could have kept riding for another 2 hours, but Gunner & I were whooped!

A Pictures Worth A Thousand Words

Gunner Our PTSD Service Dog

Well today was amazing! We added a new member to our family, his name is Gunner and he is a beautiful German Shepherd Dog! He is also a PTSD service dog.  I've done a lot of research on service dogs and how they help with PTSD and everything I've read has been so encouraging! If I can figure out how I'll post some links to site full of information. So far having Gunner in the house has been great! I really hope the trend keeps going! I'll have some pictures of him to post tomorrow!!

My first post

Hey ya'll go easy on me! Today is my first day as a "blogger". I'm still learning and trying to figure all this stuff out! Hopefully it won't take me too long to do so! I'm hoping to use this page for 3 major reasons! #1 my husband is an amazing singer/songwriter in Nashville, Tn! I want to share our crazy story of the behind the scenes!! #2 He is also a OIF combat Veteran, dealing with PTSD. I want to share our story about that as well. #3 Sometimes I want want a place to talk/vent!! Well I'm going to publish this post...remember I'm still learning so I promise in the coming days I will learn more & get better at all this stuff! Wish me luck!!
